Henry C. Clarke, Jr., was raised in Wayzata, Minnesota and attended and graduated from The Blake School in Hopkins, Minnesota.  In 1974 he graduated from Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Catholic University of America in 1977.  Mr. Clarke has been in private practice in Montgomery County, Maryland since 1980.  He spent his initial three years after law school gaining extensive experience in the Montgomery County Attorney's Office, where he represented the County Council, the County Executive's Office and other County departments on a wide variety of legal issues.  His hard work, dedication and ethical standards have earned him an outstanding reputation amongst his peers and, since 1994, a rating of AV-Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of attorneys.

Mr. Clarke's office is located in Gaithersburg and he represents clients throughout Maryland and in Washington, DC, in the estate planning, special needs, probate, business law and real estate fields. Mr. Clarke enjoys being active in the Montgomery County community, having coached local children's sports teams and serving as a scout leader.  He has also taught courses for paralegals at Montgomery College.  He and his wife, Kathy, were married in 1974 and have three children: Brian, Kelly and Michael, and have recently been blessed with their first grandchild.
